It can be difficult to find a place that is family-friendly, and has great food that the kids will love.
But you've found it! The Woodman Inn has a large playground, spacious gardens and countryside walks that the whole family will enjoy. And then there are the workshops and activities we put on to keep the children busy. Giving you a chance to enjoy a well earned break.

Join children’s author Laura Noakes for a fun, hands-on creative writing workshop. Young writers will create characters, build suspense, and craft their own stories, with tips from the author of Cosima Unfortunate Steals a Star. Perfect for budding storytellers and mystery lovers.

1st April – Easter bunny meet and greet
10:30am start
£10 per child; £8.50 for siblings
Bring the kids (ages 2–12) for a morning full of laughter and excitement! Enjoy games, dancing, an adventurous Easter egg hunt, and a colouring competition with prizes to be won. Each child will also receive a small goodie bag and a soft drink. Don’t forget your cameras—there will be plenty of opportunities to meet and take photos with the Easter Bunny!
Please note: no food is included, but The Woodman will be open from 9am for normal breakfast service—let us know if you’d like to book for food beforehand. Prepayment is required to secure
